ZAVIER Lucero is out of the UP Maroons lineup in the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball Finals - and for the coming months.
The Fil-Am high-flyer shared to his team that he has suffered an ACL tear and will miss the winner-take-all Game Three on Monday between University of the Philippines and Ateneo.

Program director Bo Perasol confirmed the news first broken by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, leaving the Fighting Maroons with one less key cog in their title-retention bid.
Lucero hurt his left knee midway through the fourth quarter of UP's 65-55 Game Two defeat to Ateneo last Wednesday.
His absence leaves a gaping hole on the Fighting Maroons wings, with MVP Malick Diouf and Mythical Team member Carl Tamayo counted on to fill the void.
