UNIVERSITY of Sto. Tomas coach Aldin Ayo will be including Randy Alcantara as one of his assistant coaches, sources told SPIN.ph.
Alcantara is a vital part of the Mapua basketball program as assistant coach of the seniors team and head coach of the juniors team.
Sources said Alcantara been given the green light by Mapua management to accept the UST job.
The Red Robins coach joins Bonnie Garcia, Rene Bayna, McJour Luib, and Kristopher Co in the UST Tigers coaching staff staff.
Alcantara, a former Mapua cager, led the Red Robins to the 2016 NCAA championship.
