UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas guard Ed Daquioag said there’s nothing to be ashamed of after the Tigers fell to Far Eastern University, 62-67, in deciding Game Three of the UAAP Finals on Wednesday.

Daquioag led the Tigers in scoring with a 21-point effort but was one of the last to emrge from the UST locker room at the Mall of Asia Arena, putting on a brave face before a couple of sports scribes.

The UST guard kept his head up after the loss.

The graduating guard was part of the UST team that finished runner-up to Ateneo and La Salle in 2012 and 2013, respectively. But he considered this one the most painful.

After the UAAP, Daquioag said he is shifting his focus to academics as he aims to finish his Business Management course before trying his luck in the PBA D-League and, hopefully, the PBA.
