ATENEO star Kiefer Ravena was officially proclaimed MVP of Season 77 of the UAAP men's basketball tournament on Wednesday - another high point in what has so far been a bounce-back season for the Blue Eagles.

Ravena totalled 77.6429 points in the statistical rankings released by the league's stats provider Imperium Technology and Smart Bro to bag his first league MVP award, a confidence boost for the third-year guard heading to the Final Four where the Blue Eagles will be the top seed.

La Salle's Jeron Teng finished second in the MVP race with 68.2143 points, Far Eastern University's Mark Belo was third with 61.2857 points, Ateneo's Chris Newsome was fourth with 60.6429 points and University of Santo Tomas center Karim Abdul was fifth with 57.6124 to join Ravena in this season's Mythical Team.

Unlike in other leagues, statistics is the sole basis for the individual awards in the UAAP.
