THIS wasn't the way University of the East wanted its UAAP Season 87 campaign to end.
Falling in the fourth place playoff to Adamson, 68-55, on Wednesday, the Red Warriors also lost main man Precious Momowei to a bad fall late in the game.

The Nigerian dynamo was going for the block against Mathew Montebon, but suffered a freak fall at the 3:25 mark of the fourth quarter.
Momowei was heard screaming, "I can't move!" pointing to his back, as he writhed in pain on the floor before the medics tended to him.

He was then stretchered out of the venue and was not long after rushed to a local medical facility.
Momowei finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks in the painful loss, an abrupt end to what was once a promising UE campaign which started at 5-2.
But after six consecutive losses, with this one being the most costly, the Final Four drought in Recto continued, as they missed the semifinals for the 15th straight season.
The Red Warriors have yet to give an update on Momowei's condition as of press time.
