LOVE Sto. Domingo had 19 points and seven rebounds as University of the East stayed on course for the Final Four with a 53-39 win over also-ran University of the Philippines on Sunday in the UAAP Season 79 women's basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Eunique Chan added 12 points and seven boards while Ruthlaine Tacula had 10 points, eight assists and five boards as the Lady Warriors scored their seventh win in 10 games for third spot behind National University (11-0) and La Salle (8-2).
Jamie Alcoy had 16 points as Adamson University nipped Ateneo, 65-64, in overtime to gain fourth spot at 5-6.
Hazelle Yam led the Lady Eagles with 13 points, Jollina Go had 12 points while Kristina Deacon came through with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Ateneo, which turned the ball over 42 times, fell to fifth spot with its seventh loss in 11 matches.
The Lady Maroons are in last place with a 1-10 card.
