GRADUATING La Salle guard Julian Sargent was at a loss for words to describe his special moment after the Green Archers captured the UAAP Season 79 men's basketball tournament crown on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Sargent took a step back to watch some of his teammates celebrate at center court after their 79-72 Game Two win, realizing he could have been just a spectator if he chose not to play his fifth and final year with the Green Archers.

"If I didn't come back, I would have missed it (championship) and I would have regretted it. 'Cause winning the championship it's like the greatest feeling in the world," he said.

While he was carrying his two-year old son, Justice, he thought of his coach Aldin Ayo, who he considers as the one who carried him through his final career.

"I just really want to thank him (Ayo) for letting me come back to La Salle," said Sargent.

Sargent along with Finals MVP Jeron Teng, Thomas Torres and Jason Perkins have played out their eligibility in the UAAP, making for a fitting farewell with the green and white.

"Words don't even describe it, coming back and winning it (championship) with my bros, I can't put into words, it's just pure happiness," he said.
