UAAP is giving University of Santo Tomas a chance to be heard following the alleged Bicol bubble of the Growling Tigers came to light.

In a statement of UAAP executive director Atty. Rebo Saguisag, the league has already approached the school about the issue and was told that it will already conduct a probe on the apparent trainings happening in Sorsogon.

"We were informed that UST created a fact-finding committee to look into the matter and meantime asked to be excused from the proceedings," he said.

Saguisag and UAAP president Nonong Calanog of La Salle met with Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) national training director Marc Velasco, Games and Amusements Board (GAB) chairman Baham Mitra, and Department of Health (DOH) representative Rodley Carza on Saturday afternoon to discuss the matter in the aftermath of the controversial exit of UST team captain CJ Cansino.

The issue seemingly opened the lid on the Growling Tigers' supposed practice sessions happening in coach Aldin Ayo's residence.
