THE UAAP has cancelled its men’s and women’s basketball games on Wednesday due to typhoon ‘Glenda.’
“Season 77 host UE has announced the cancelation of the men's basketball games at the MOA Arena and the women's basketball matches at the Blue Eagle gym scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, July 16) because of Typhoon Glenda,” said the UAAP statement.
Make-up dates of the games will be announced at a later date.
The league made the decision to cancel the games as the weather worsened after announcing earlier that the decision would be made early Wednesday morning.
According to weather reports, ‘Glenda’ is forecasted to slam Metro Manila on Wednesday. Signal number two is already up in the metropolis.
