ALDIN Ayo will be under the microscope as the UAAP Board of Managing Directors (BMD) has recommended that the University of Santo Tomas coach be put under investigation for the team's bubble training in Sorsogon.
Spin.ph sources confirmed that in the eyes of the athletic directors from eight member schools, it is the controversial coach who should be held liable for a training that clearly violated health protocols during the pandemic.
The board reached the consensus following a tedious deliberation in their Thursday afternoon meeting.
However, the sanctions remain unclear as it will be up to the Board of Trustees, composed of the university presidents, to decide on the penalties.

The UAAP board later released a statement saying it has submitted recommendations to the university presidents for 'review on approval' without mentioning what these were.
However, sources said the board has put the blame squarely on Ayo, who sources bared hosted the entire team in his gym in Sorsogon.
At posting time, rumors flew that Ayo has already tendered his resignation, all unconfirmed.
Here's the UAAP statement in full:
The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Board of Managing Directors (BMD) met on September 3, Thursday, to discuss the report submitted by the University of Santo Tomas concerning allegations on its basketball training activities during quarantine.
The discussion covered compliance with government-issued guidelines and protocols on the conduct of school and athletic activities during the community quarantine.
Following a lengthy discussion, the UAAP BMD drafted its recommendations, which will be submitted to the UAAP Board of Trustees for review and approval.
The UAAP understands the gravity of the matter as it concerns the safety and well-being of student-athletes of a member-school.
