AFTER all the anticipation and tension, the issue surrounding the spitting allegation against La Salle coach Topex Robinson raised by UP Maroons player Reyland Torres did not get resolved on Tuesday.
The UAAP's Board of Managing Directors met to tackle the allegations that were levelled against the Green Archers coach following their 68-56 win over the Maroons on Sunday, but did not reach a verdict.

Instead, the issue was referred to the league's Committee on Rules and Discipline, sources told SPIN.ph.
It is unclear if the board made any recommendations at the end of Tuesday's meeting or if it simply relegated the decision-making to the hands of members of the Rules and Discipline Committee.
But according to a source familiar with the proceedings, videos of the alleged Robinson spat that the BMD viewed were deemed "inconclusive."

Robinson, the source added, will now appear before the UAAP board this coming Thursday, excluding representatives of UP and La Salle.
When reached by phone, the former PBA and NCAA coach politely declined to comment saying the investigation is on-going, but he did say that "I am happy to have the opportunity to clear my name."
