TOPEX Robinson is now the new head coach of the La Salle University Green Archers.
"Yes!!" he told SPIN.ph after previously sending a cryptic message saying only "Animo."
Later in a phone call, Robinson was more clear.
"I just got out of the meeting and will be having dinner with all the bosses later," Robinson said. "I am excited for this new chapter in my coaching life."

Robinson is the seventh coaching hire for La Salle since 2012. He replaces Derick Pumaren, whose contract expired last December 31 and was not renewed.
The former head coach of the Phoenix Super LPG, Robinson turned down a six-month, P400,000 a month offer to stay with the team he had led for the last three years.
Before the Phoenix gig, Robinson, 48, coached in the college leagues at San Sebastian and Lyceum, leading the Chiefs to two NCAA Finals appearances.
Aside from Robinson, seven other coaches were named as candidates, including former Gilas Pilipinas coach Rajko Toroman and latecomer Luigi Trillo.
The general consensus was that Robinson was headed to La Salle but eight days after parting ways with Phoenix and still no announcement in sight led to speculations that the deal may have fallen apart.
That turned out not to be the case.
