THIRDY Ravena became the first player to win three Finals MVP awards in the Final Four era of the UAAP after leading Ateneo to a championship hat-trick in Season 82.
Ravena scored eight of his 17 points in the fourth quarter on top of seven rebounds and five assists on Wednesday as the Blue Eagles beat University of Santo Tomas, 89-76, to complete a historic 16-game season.

In doing so, Ravena surpassed three two-time Finals MVPs in Far Eastern University legend Arwind Santos who won in 2003 and 2005, Ateneo’s Nico Salva (2011 and 2012) and La Salle’s Jeron Teng (2013 and 2016).
The graduating winger averaged 24.5 points in two games on 55 percent shooting and tallied six rebounds and four assists to put a fitting end to an amazing UAAP career.
