THIRDY Ravena downplayed his solid performance on UAAP opening weekend, saying anyone on the Blue Eagles roster can deliver.
The Blue Eagles came up with a huge victory over the Adamson Falcons, with Ravena leading all scorers.
“Like what I’ve said before, it could be anyone. Whoever coach Tab (Baldwin) thinks is fit in that situation, I think that’s who is going to put inside,” he said after Saturday's game at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Ravena earned praise for the 20-point 10-rebound outing, but he insists teamwork remains the name of the game for the Blue Eagles, who are bent on capturing the championship this time around after bowing to La Salle in the finals last season.
"We all understand that cause we know we have to play together. So if we need na kailangang maglaro yung isang player to takeover, we’re all open in giving him the ball and letting him take over the game."
"But you know, as a team, we really still have to work together. It can’t always just be someone," he said.
"Each and every game, we treat it the same way, just treat it as if it’s a game seven of a Finals," he said.
