ATENEO coach Tab Baldwin is set to make his first public statement since the UAAP team's controversial training camp in Dipaculao, Aurora last Monday that cost the lives of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili.
Baldwin and other team officials have come under fire in the wake of the tragedy and the anger has mounted not only because of the continued silence but also for his absence from the team's visit to Baterbonia's wake at Arlington on Wednesday.

Information from the Aurora police bared the former Gilas Pilipinas coach was 'too shocked' to make a statement in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Except for an appearance in a vigil for the fallen pair held inside the Ateneo campus, Baldwin, who has been asked to go on an indefinite leave of absence while investigations are ongoing, has not issued any statement.
Until now.
Sources bared Baldwin 'spoke without a script and from the heart' in the interview to be released on Friday afternoon. It was pre-recorded, although the multi-titled coach was willing to face mediamen for an interview, a source added.
“Actually, this was supposed to be done yesterday, but the school opted to hold it until after the vigil for the soul of the two athletes,” said the source.
As it is, Baldwin is facing multiple investigations as well as possible legal actions. Sources said there is also a move to seek a hold departure order against him from the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID).
