TOPEX Robinson and Reyland Torres have been given stern warnings following their controversial spat during the heated game between La Salle and the University of the Philippines last Sunday.
SPIN.ph sources confirmed that the UAAP Board of Managing Directors (BMD) found the evidence inconclusive after investigating the matter and meeting the two parties on Thursday.

The league is set to issue a statement on Friday.

Robinson found himself in the middle of the issue after Torres alleged that the coach spat on him late in the third quarter of the finals rematch between the two teams.

But with no concrete evidence that proved Robinson’s wrongdoing, the Green Archers mentor escaped any penalties and will be on the sidelines when the defending champions open the second round against University of the East on Saturday.
La Salle re-asserted its mastery over the Fighting Maroons, 68-56.
