ROBERT Bolick has left the De La Salle Green Archers after two seasons with the UAAP squad.

De La Salle coach Juno Sauler confirmed on Tuesday that Bolick will leave the Green Archers to transfer to another school, although he claimed not to know where the former La Salle Greenhills standout is headed.

“Robert decided to transfer. To where, I wouldn’t know,” Sauler told Spin.ph.

Sources, however, said Bolick has drawn interest from a team based in Cebu.

In only his rookie year following his move from the Junior Blazers in the NCAA, Bolick became part of the La Salle championship team that defeated University of Santo Tomas in the 2013 Finals.

But Bolick saw limited action for the Green Archers in his sophomore year last season. He played in 13 out of the 14 elimination round games for La Salle but averaged only 1.8 points per game in 9.1 minutes of action.

The minutes could further dipped for Bolick in the coming season, with a few Team B players eligible to move up to the lineup along with some newcomers coming in.

Recently, Batang Gilas guard Jollo Go, a standout from Hope Christian High School, committed to join the Green Archers, bringing his outside shooting prowess to La Salle.

However, the Taft-based squad is facing the possibility of missing Ben Mbala in Season 78 after the Cameroonian center played in a ‘ligang labas’ in General Santos City last month.

Under league rules, such violations merit an additional year of residency for red-shirting players.
