REY Suerte has been tested ever since he took his act from Cebu to Manila.
But playing in the UAAP, the two-time CESAFI MVP admitted that it's a different beast in itself.
"It’s very tough. Yung mga teams, sobrang competitive. Kailangan talaga mag-adjust ng mag-adjust," said the Monkayo, Compostela Valley native.
Suerte has been impressive through his first two games for University of the East this UAAP Season 82 men's basketball tournament.

The 6-foot-3 swingman has been averaging 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists, looking a lot like his dominant self when he torched the nets for University of the Visayas.
But Suerte remains unsatisfied, first with his erratic game for the Red Warriors, and because UE has yet to win one this season.
"Sobrang gigil pa rin ako masyado. From first quarter, masyado akong gigil," he admitted after putting up 17 points and 10 rebounds in the Red Warriors' 81-65 loss to FEU on Sunday.
"Pero we're still adjusting. Kakasimula pa lang naman at pwede pabng bumawi. May 12 games pa, so we'll just get better every practice and every game."

And UE needs more than just luck to get those things done, with Adamson waiting in the wings on Wednesday.
