PLAYERS who still remain in Sorsogon will finally head home on Saturday as University of Santo Tomas await their fate following the school's investigation of the Bicol bubble.
Spin.ph sources confirmed that all the players remaining in Capuy, Sorsogon will return this weekend as the necessary travel documents are set to be furnished.
The Growling Tigers have been under the microscope over the past week as reports of their trainings in Sorsogon was unveiled, stemming from the departure of ex-team captain CJ Cansino and led to the resignation of Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA) director Fr. Jannel Abogado, OP from his post.
Cansino, together with Brent Paraiso and Bismarck Lina, have already left Sorsogon last week, while Ira Bataller, who has been feeling abdominal pains for the past month, has returned to Manila early in the week.

UST has since conducted a probe on the matter, with men's basketball head coach Aldin Ayo cooperating in the investigation.
The fact-finding committee is set to submit its report to UST Rector Fr. Richard Ang, OP, who will then hand it over to the UAAP Board of Trustees on Friday.
Details from said report will be tackled once the UAAP meets anew with officials from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for Emerging Infectious Diseases on Tuesday.
