FEU import Prince Orizu set to play for Nigerian national team in Commonwealth Games

PRINCE Orizu will play for the Nigerian basketball team in the 21st Commonwealth Games basketball competitions in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

The Far Eastern University center will be part of the team along with former NBA player Ike Diogu, who is playing in the Chinese basketball league, according to titansbasketbal.com.

Diogu played in the 2017 Afrobasket where Nigeria won a silver medal. It was in the same competition where La Salle cager Ben Mbala played for Cameroon.

Nigeria is bracketed with Australia, Canada and New Zealand in Group A of the competition for athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations.

Cameroon, England, India and Scotland will play in Group B.
