KRISTIAN Porter joining University of Santo Tomas is a further testament to the program that coach Pido Jarencio is building in España.
The outspoken mentor was beaming as he talked about his newest recruit after the former Gilas Pilipinas Youth team member transferred from Ateneo.
Porter left the Blue Eagles after his rookie season where he put up 6.6 points and 6.9 rebounds.
Though he will sit out this coming season, he will still have two more playing years in the black-and-gold starting in UAAP Season 89.
Jarencio expects big things from Porter moving forward all the more as he adds ceiling to the squad which is already boasting of recruits, none bigger than Koji Buenaflor.

Porter is also the third former Blue Eagle to join the Growling Tigers after Forthsky Padrigao and Ice Danting.
