FOR coach Olsen Racela, Far Eastern University's measly 39 points in a loss to National University on Wednesday is prood that no team is a pushover in UAAP Season 82.

But that hardly appeased his anger over the Tamaraws' lethargic performance.

"Bottomline is my team didn't show up today. Yun lang yun," Racela lamented after the 61-39 defeat to the Bulldogs. "They did not show up and that's what's gonna happen if you do not show up in games this season."

The Tamaraws shot 15-of-79 from the field for 19-percent shooting and went 2-of-26 from deep, for just 7-percent, as they slumped to their lowest points total in a game since 2003.

"Nagsabay-sabay lang siguro yung pagkamalas namin. I know hindi excuse yan eh," rued Racela after gunners Wendell Comboy, Ken Tuffin, L-Jay Gonzales and Brandrey Bienes combined for a 0-of-16 shooting from beyond the arc.

The PBA great said this loss should be an eye-opener for FEU to always be razor-sharp regardless of who it is playing, moreso now when it dwells near the cellar with a 2-4 win-loss card.

"Whether you play NU or the strongest team, if you don't show up, we will get blown out," he said.

"Lagi kong sinasabi na grabe yung balance of teams ngayon, so ganoon ang mangyayari. Kailangan every game, you have to bring your A-game. If you don't do that, ganoon ang mangyayari."
