FEU coach Olsen Racela believes that his troubled forward, Arvin Tolentino, has already learned his lesson after missing three games now this UAAP Season 81.

"Natuto na yun," the soft-spoken mentor said in jest.

Tolentino has been suspended twice already this season, first for his clothesline on Adamson's Sean Manganti, and the other on his hit against UST's Zachy Huang. That second one cost him two games for the Tamaraws.

Racela thinks that the graduating forward, who is the team's best scorer at 11.7 points per outing, has thought long and hard about the repercussions he served and is now ready to return to help FEU in its Final Four drive.

"Kung ma-suspend pa siya, that’s the end of his UAAP career. But you know, he has learned his lesson," he said.

UAAP commissioner Junel Baculi has already given Tolentino a stern warning, telling the former Rookie of the Year to be more careful the next time out or suffer grave consequences.

"May warning na siya, then he got a disqualifying foul so there was a one-game suspension. Biglang ginawa niya ulit, so two-games suspension," the executive said.

"Gawin niya ulit yun sa next game, maba-ban siya according to the rules. I always base my decisions according to the rules and evidence which is the official video."

Racela, on the other hand, said that he has done his part in hammering that thought to Tolentino.

"Yung sinasabi ko sa kanya, it’s not just for this season," he said. "Malayo pa ang future ni Arvin after the UAAP, so more than this season, it’s for his future."
