ADAMSON's junior stars Tebol Garcia and Vince Reyes are headed to National University for the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament later this year.
The Bulldogs now have a new pair of playmaking aces following the departure of Kean Baclaan, who'll be joining defending champion La Salle come Season 88.

"Malaking addition yung nakuha natin ngayon kasi itong dalawang 'to, 'di lang magagaling na player, kundi mga winner pa," said head coach Jeff Napa.
The former Baby Falcons were at the forefront of Adamson’s first juniors championship in 31 years — ironically against the dynastic NU-Nazareth School. At 5-foot-11, Garcia fired Season 86 averages of 12.4 points, 5.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals while the 6-foot-3 Reyes normed 12.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals.
Both Garcia (5th) and Reyes (19th) landed among the National Basketball Training Center’s (NBTC) top 20 under-19 prospects, with the former teaming up with fellow ex-NBTC standouts Reinhard Jumamoy and Steve Nash Enriquez to bolster NU’s stacked point guard rotation.
Meanwhile, Reyes will soon be thrown into the mix with Napa’s scoring weapons in Jake Figueroa and Jolo Manansala.
“A big step forward na yung nagawa natin nitong nakaraan and sana, sa pagpapatuloy na pag-mature nina Jake, Nash, at Reinhard pati rito sa mga bagong promising player natin, maka-move forward pa tayo lalo," said Napa.
Following back-to-back bronze medal finishes, the Bulldogs are on the hunt for a breakthrough Finals stint which they’ve last done in Season 77 (2014) — NU’s last championship win in UAAP men’s basketball.
