Noah Webb faces long layoff for meniscus tear sustained in UP-UST game

Noah Webb dodges bullet as knee injury ruled as a torn meniscus

NOAH Webb is expected to be out for the next five to six months for University of the Philippines after tearing the meniscus on his left knee.

The 6-foot-3 forward injured his knee as he tried to stay in front of University of Santo Tomas guard Mark Nonoy in their knockout match last Wednesday.

Webb hurt his knee and had to foul just to get subbed out at the 2:16 mark of the fourth quarter.

UP went on to lose that game, 68-65, to bow out of the UAAP Season 82 men's basketball tournament last week.

Good news for the 23-year-old is that it's not an ACL injury and he is expected to be cleared to practice once the Fighting Maroons begin their buildup for the next season.
