LA Salle coach Topex Robinson isn't one to tolerate bad habits and was the first to reprimand Vhoris Marasigan for his hit against National U center Omar John.

"He's aware. He's not a kid anymore," the Green Archers mentor said of his third-year winger.

"You do stuff, you have to be responsible with the circumstances. Kung ni-remind ko na kayo pero ginawa niyo pa rin, you have to live by that."

Marasigan was handed with a one-game suspension for his actions after he was ejected for a disqualifying foul when he threw a closed fist on the abdomen of the Senegalese center at the 4:52 mark of the second quarter in La Salle's 75-67 loss to NU.

"That's clearly an unsportsmanlike foul and I can't argue with that," said Robinson. "Whether it's him retaliating, it's still the wrong thing. He did wrong and he knows that."

Marasigan was also previously called for an unsportsmanlike foul in the Taft side's 93-84 defeat to University of Santo Tomas back in Sept. 27 when he swung his hand to the lower extremities of Kyle Paranada.

He will serve his ban on Sunday when La Salle (6-4) take on rival Ateneo.

That makes it three players out for the Green Archers in the much anticipated rivalry game with Mason Amos and Kean Baclaan still on the injury bay.

Still, Robinson is keeping his faith in this unit as La Salle looks to bounce back after this setback against NU.

"What’s good about it is that we still have a chance to redeem ourselves with four games left to play. The four-game win streak kind of put us in a nice spot, but what’s important is we learn a lot," he said.

"We’ll make sure we’ll be a better team come next game."
