EMMAN Ojoula showed that he's a force to be reckoned with, towing Far Eastern University to an 82-63 victory over Bank of Taiwan in the final of the 2019 D-LIVE Summer League at Banquiao Gymnasium on Sunday at New Taipei City in Taiwan.
The Nigerian bruiser scored 20 points for the Tamaraws in the championship game as they completed a five-game sweep of the tournament.
Ojoula scored eight in FEU's 14-4 run that gave them a 24-15 lead in the first quarter, before the Tamaraws extended the lead to 16, 40-24, with 1:58 left in the first half.
The Tamaraws were hardly threatened by their Taiwanese foes in the second half.
Branrey Bienes drilled three triples in the fourth quarter and finished with 17 points, while rookie Xyrus Torres also joined in the party with 11 points built on three treys.
Wendell Comboy had eight points, Barkley Ebona chipped in seven, while Ken Tuffin had six markers.
It was the confidence-boost FEU needs two weeks away from the opening of the UAAP Season 82.
