MARK Dyke has been attending practices of Far Eastern University but a school official said the La Salle cager has not officially joined the Tamaraws.
Dyke has been spotted of late playing for the Tamaraws in the Milcu preseason tournament, months after suiting up for the Green Archers in Season 79 of the UAAP.
The former National University high school standout was no longer part of the Green Archers lineup during the summer due to academics issues, said a source.
FEU athletic director Mark Molina confirmed Dyke has been practicing with the Tamaraws but insisted he is not yet officially with the school as his documents are still with La Salle.
"He joined a few practices. We asked him to secure transfer documents from DLSU if he wants to join us," said Molina.
Dyke only played seven games for La Salle in Season 79 where he averaged 1.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.3 assists.
If Dyke enrolls at FEU, the 6-foot-3 cager will have to undergo a one-year residency required from players transferring from one UAAP school to another and will only be eligible to play for the Tamaraws in Season 81.
