PHILIPPINE national under-18 basketball team member Mark Dyke had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the National University Bullpups came away with an easy 83-38 win over University of the East on Wednesday in the UAAP Season 77 juniors basketball competition at the Blue Eagle Gym.
The Bullpups scored their second win in as many games to share the top spot with last year’s runner-up Ateneo and Far Eastern University.
Batang Gilas member Jolo Mendoza had 22 points, and Mike Nieto had 20 points and 10 rebounds to power the Blue Eaglets to an 82-70 victory over University of Santo Tomas.
Brandrey Biernes scored 19 points as the Baby Tamaraws downed University of the Philippines Integrated School, 67-51.
La Salle-Zobel bounced back from its opening day defeat to Ateneo over the weekend with a 67-61 win over Adamson.
The Baby Falcons also own a 1-1 win-loss slate.
