A CLOCK malfunction at the Mall of Asia Arena forced the postponement of one of the games of the UAAP women’s basketball tournament on Sunday.
The league decided to postpone the second game of the women's tournament between Far Eastern University and National University to prevent further delay of the televised seniors match-up between University of the Philippines and University of the East at 2 p.m.
The start of the first game of the women’s tournament between University of the Philippines and University of Santo Tomas was delayed for an hour due to technical difficulties with one of the shotclocks.
The Lady Maroons and the Tigresses agreed to play the game with just one shotclock functioning.
MOA Arena technicians tried to repair the other shotclock for the second game between Far Eastern University and National University but couldn't get it fixed by noontime.
