KOBE Paras beamed with pride for his 'brother' Thirdy Ravena for 'proving haters wrong again' after leading Ateneo to the UAAP Season 80 men’s basketball crown.
In a post on his Twitter account, Paras expressed his happiness towards his the Season 80 Finals MVP for leading the Blue Eagles to the UAAP crown, especially after what they’ve gone through in their basketball careers.
The high-flyer Paras said there came a time in their young careers that people would only say that they made it to their teams because they were sons of PBA players Benjie Paras and Bong Ravena.
“Growing up, people would always talk badly about us. They’d always say that the only reason why we got in the team was because our dad’s played pros and are well-known," wrote Paras. "Proved them haters wrong again.”
