KIEFER Ravena aims to connect with his fans even more following the end of his college basketball career with the launch of his own website, kieferravena.com.
The two-time UAAP MVP said his latest venture is intended to keep his fans updated about his life on and off the court at the end of his five-year college career with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
“I will be able to [maintain] that connection with them kasi gusto ko ‘yung mga fans ko, I want them to know more about me until I enter the PBA in the future,” Ravena said during the formal launch of the site.
“It’s one way to interact with them kasi hindi naman lahat nakakapanood ng games at nakikita ako,” Ravena added.
Chris Atienza, the developer of kieferravena.com, said the team behind the website is excited as it is one of the online pioneers in exclusively featuring a particular athlete in the Philippines.
“This is something that will connect to the people,” said Atienza. “When you provide information, you want to bridge the gap so to speak.”
Aside from news about him about his playing career, his personal life and charity work, Ravena said the website will also hold live chats and open forums with fans at least once a week.
“I assure you that I will be really me. Hindi ‘yung answer lang ng answer,” said Ravena, when asked if he will be hands-on in the website particularly in the live chats. “Hands-on in a way that I’ll be giving a personal touch to it.”
