KIEFER Ravena moved a step closer to a return to action which could happen, at the earliest, on Sunday if given the clearance by the coaching staff.
Ateneo coach Bo Perasol said Ravena is raring to play in Sunday’s match-up against the Falcons after rejoining the reigning five-time champions in practices.
However, Perasol added it will be still be his call on whether Ravena will be fielded against the Falcons or not.
“He wants to play already,” said Perasol. “I will have to see later if it is called for.”
“His movements are still unlike before but he is constantly improving day after day,” Perasol added.
Ravena has only played a game this season for the Blue Eagles after spraining his right ankle in the lead-up to the campaign.
Without Ravena, Ateneo is on the verge of its worst start in 15 years after losing its first three games. Another loss for the Blue Eagles and they will match the 0-4 start of the 1997 team.
