Quiambao himself made the declaration in a post on Facebook on Wednesday.

“After countless days and weeks of praying and weighing on whats best for me and my family, Spending time in God's Word is the only way to grow closer to Him.

COLUMN: Is Kevin Quiambao really leaving La Salle?

“I’ve decided to fulfill my promise for DLSU and (the) Lasallian Community. To God be the Glory. Animo,” said Quiambao.

Although excluded from La Salle’s lineup for the 2024 PBA D-League, where Topex Robinson's side remains unbeaten in three games, Quiambao is now expected to rejoin the team ahead of their UAAP title-retention bid in September.
