KEVIN Quiambao has just completed a UAAP championship-Season MVP-Finals MVP hat-trick in a big season for La Salle.
That looked far-fetched just last week.
Just a day after the Green Archers toppled the University of the Philippines, 73-69, in Game 3 of the men's basketball finals, the young star shared an old text conversation with DLSU coach Topex Robinson on Instagram.

The screenshot of the convo had Quiambao apologizing to Robinson after his bland performance in the Green Archers' lopsided loss, 97-67, to the Fighting Maroons in Game 1 of the best-of-three series.
"Sorry coach. I love you coach. Bawi ako," he said, from which Robinson replied with: "I love you Kevin. Di ako susuko sa'yo."
Quiambao revisited the old exchange on Thursday, hours after the Green Archers celebrated their first UAAP championship in seven years, with the appropriate caption: "Coach! Champion na tayo!"
The night before, the former UAAP Rookie of the Year fired 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds, issued four assists, and had two blocks in front of a record-breaking 25,192 fans to end La Salle's seven-year title drought.
