ADAMSON coach Kenneth Duremdes will miss Wednesday’s game against Far Eastern University at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum to attend to a 'family matter' in Bahrain.
Adamson team manager Gilbert Cruz confirmed Duremdes won't be around when the Falcons close out their first-round campaign looking for their first win of the season.
Cruz said Duremdes will be back to the Falcons in time for the second round.
Assistant coach Vince Hizon will take over in Duremdes' absence.
The Falcons are coming off a 77-64 loss to University of the Philippines, which ended a 27-game losing streak that dated back to 2012 with assistant coach Ramil Cruz filling in for the banned Ramil Cruz.
So the question now begs to be asked: Will it be the week of stand-in coaches in the UAAP?'
