REINHARD Jumamoy will sit out National U's second-round opener in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament.
The Cebuano guard told SPIN.ph that he suffered from a left shoulder contusion and was advised to rest, forcing the third-year guard to miss the Bulldogs' game against the UP Maroons at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday.

Jumamoy collided with Ateneo guard Ian Espinosa last Wednesday and left the game late in the second quarter of a 71-66 overtime win that enabled NU to finish the first round atop the standings at 6-1.
"Naitataas ko na naman yung braso ko at hindi na masakit," he said.
Fortunately for coach Jeff Napa, the Bulldogs have Steve Nash Enriquez and Tebol Garcia to take care of the playmaking duties as they try to sustain their three-game win streak.

Through the first seven games, Jumamoy averaged 3.3 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
