ROOKIE Joshua Ramirez has decided to bolt La Salle and is in search for a new home.
Sources close to the situation confirmed that the former Letran Squire wanted out of the Taft and notified coach Derrick Pumaren of his decision over the weekend.
"Nag-text siya sa coaches and ang sabi niya, lilipat daw siya," the source said on condition of anonymity.
Reasons were undisclosed, but sources bared that the influx of young wingers led by Emman Galman from Perpetual and CJ Austria from University of the East weighed on the 6-foot-4 swingman.
Ramirez, was part of the Gilas Pilipinas Youth pool for the 2019 Fiba Under-19 World Cup.
As the main man for Letran this past NCAA Season 95, he posted 13.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists as the Squires collected an 8-10 win-loss record last year.
He had committed to Letran after the Knights' championship run in the seniors division but went on a U-turn and chose to head to La Salle in February.
