JORDAN Sta. Ana will no longer play for University of Santo Tomas, head coach Aldin Ayo confirmed on Monday.
Sta. Ana tweeted ‘Adios, Espana’ on Monday, ending his two-year stint with the Growling Tigers in the UAAP.
Sta. Ana averaged 11.1 points last year for the Growling Tigers in UAAP Season 80, the third best for a team team that won only one in 14 games under Boy Sablan.
He also posted 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in his only UAAP season with the Tigers. The 20-year-old guard played for one season with University of the East before moving to Esplana.
Sta. Ana played high school ball with National University.
