LA Salle is bracing for a summer of changes not limited to the arrival of head coach Jermaine Byrd.

Jollo Go, Mark Dyke, and two other players were cut from the Green Archers lineup a little over a week before the Taft side wages war in the 2019 Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, SPIN.ph sources bared on Friday.

Go, a 5-foot-10 guard out of Hope Christian High School, averaged 4.5 points in his fourth year with La Salle, while the 6-foot-3 Dyke, from Nazareth School of National University, made his return to the lineup after sitting out the previous season and netted 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds last UAAP Season 81.

Also part of the cuts were Ilonggo guard Might Corteza and Fil-Aussie guard Aaron Waban as Byrd started the process of retooling the Green Archers after they missed the Final Four last year under former coach Louie Gonzales.

Gone from La Salle are forward Santi Santillan and playmaker Kib Montalbo, leaving the reins of leadership to shooter Aljun Melecio and center Justine Baltazar.
