JETT Manuel had 19 points while Diego Dario added 18 points as Quezon City-University of the Philippines beat Malolos Mighty BulSu (Bulacan State University), 100-87, over the weekend in the Filsports Basketball Association (FBA) Unity Games at the Malolos City Sports Stadium and Convention Center.
Dave Moralde finished with 16 points, and Paul Desiderio chipped in 14 markers for the Maroons, who improved their record to 3-3 and gained a share of second place with three other teams including Mighty BulSu.
Numero Uno Antipolo Pilgrims downed Metro Racal Auto Center Artemis, 99-94, in overtime to also move to 3-3.
Mark Montuano contributed 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Pilgrims.
Jerald Bautista had 24 points while Levi Hernandez added 21 markers as the Pampanga-Foton Tornadoes defeated Laguna Busa Warriors, 98-94, to remain on top of the standings with a 5-1 win-loss card.
Ed Rivera finished with 18 points and 19 rebounds for the Tornadoes.
The Warriors own a 1-5 record.
