JERON Teng said he will “definitely” return for his final season with La Salle in the UAAP next year after his fourth year with the Green Archers ended in a heartbreak.

Teng assured he will be playing a fifth season with the Taft-based school, saying that he doesn’t want to end his collegiate career in a painful manner after a 68-71 loss to Far Eastern University ended the Green Archers' quest for a place in the Final Four.

“Yeah definitely,” Teng said when asked if he will return next year. “I don’t want my last game wearing a DLSU uniform like this, ending it like this.”

“Definitely, I’ll be back stronger next year. This year, I’ve learned a lot of lessons. Hopefully, it will be a better season,” said the null-strong Green Archers forward.

Teng, however, couldn’t hide the pain of losing on Wednesday when the Green Archers blew a 15-point lead against an FEU side that let its second-stringers finish a game it didn't need to win.
