JEROM Lastimosa of Adamson and Camille Claro of La Salle outwitted their competition to rule the UAAP Season 81 Last 1 Standing Skills Challenge Friday at Mall of Asia Arena Atrium.
Lastimosa, a rookie for the Soaring Falcons, went on a flawless run in the championship round and zoomed past James Tempra of FEU to lay claim on the crown.
The cat-quick Claro, meanwhile, showed her sick handles as the Lady Archer cruised past Juslyne Eunice Magat of UST in the Final.
It was an entertaining event which allowed the players to show their shooting, passing, and dribbling skills.
Enzo Battad of UP and Daniel Atienza of NU made it to the semifinals in the men's category, as Nathan Chan of Ateneo, Carl Lacap of UE, Donn Lim of La Salle, and Brent Paraiso of UST fell in the first round.
On the other hand, Monique del Carmen of NU and Lady Rosa Rosario of Adamson made it as far as the semis, while Alyssa Villamor of Ateneo, Gene Amar of UP, Cristine Cortizano of UE, and Valerie Mae Mamaril of FEU were ousted in the preliminaries.
