HANDYMAN and Robinsons Supermarket are keeping the faith with the University of the Philippines Maroons and have renewed their support of the squad for a fifth season.
Through this venture, both retail brands hope to promote good sportsmanship and an active, healthy lifestyle.
Handyman and Robinsons Supermarket renewed their support during a contract signing held recently at UP Diliman.
The retail group is even more optimistic this year as UP hosts UAAP Season 78, which starts in September.
Present during the contract signing were Ms. Robina Gokongwei, team manager Dan Palami, UP Fighting Maroons coach Joe Ward and several players.
UP Diliman Chancellor Dr. Michael Tan said he appreciates the financial support, adding the community believes that there is “nowhere to go but UP.”
This is a tagline that UP alumni have adapted on its Facebook page as a way to boost morale and rally support for the UP Fighting Maroons.
