LA SAlle team patron Eduardo 'Danding' Cojuangco is known for his generosity, but it's still undecided what bonus awaits the Green Archers after their title romp in UAAP Season 79.
Cojuangco did not stay too long at the Smart Araneta Coliseum after a 79-72 win over Ateneo in Game Two on Wednesday gave La Salle its first championship since 2013 and ninth overall.
La Salle alumni and sports columnist Quinito Henson said team management will have to sit down to talk about what incentive to give to the newly crowned champions.
"We will have to talk about it, as of now there's no definite prize yet," he said.
But Henson disclosed that the coaching staff led by Aldin Ayo will fly to the United States to attend coaching seminars, including one to be arranged by former Philippine team star and now San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Chip Engelland.
"Coach Aldin and the team (coaching staff) will attend a coaching seminar with Chip Engelland because he's close with Boss Danding, but for the whole team with the players wala pang napag-uusapan ano ibibigay sa kanila," he said.
