JOLLO Go and Mark Dyke have nothing but gratitude as they bid La Salle adieu.

The two players took to social media to express their gratitude to the school following the news that they have been dropped from the Green Archers squad on Friday.

"Things may not have ended the way I wanted it to, but I trust God and his reasons as I know he has something better planned out for me," said Go in an Instagram post.

Dyke, meanwhile, was short and sweet in his goodbye.

"I will forever be GRATEFUL #AnimoLasalle," he posted on his Instagram page.

Go and Dyke were part of La Salle's UAAP Season 79 championship team coached by Aldin Ayo back in 2016.

The two, together with rarely-used guards Miggy Corteza and Aaron Waban, were cut from the team, SPIN.ph sources said, as new head coach Jermaine Byrd aims to bring the proud Taft side back in contention after missing the Final Four in Season 81.

Go averaged 4.5 points in his fourth year with the Green Archers, and hinted in his Instagram post that that season won't be his last in the college leagues.

"I will always be grateful for being given the opportunity to represent the Green and White. Thank you to all who supported and believed, especially Boss ECJ, Sir Raffy, Sir Terry, Coach Pao, all my coaches and teammates for all the doors you’ve opened for me. I believe this is only the beginning for me and I look forward to what’s coming. On to the next. #ANIMO," he wrote.

Dyke is poised to transfer to St. Benilde after averaging 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds last year.

The two need not look far for inspiration.

Rarely used at La Salle, Robert Bolick packed his bags and moved to San Beda where he won a couple of NCAA championships before becoming the No. 3 pick overal in the last PBA Rookie Draft.
