FORTHSKY Padrigao was nowhere to be found in Ateneo's bench during the Blue Eagles' opening game in the 2023 AsiaBasket Las Piñas leg on Friday.
The UAAP Season 85 Mythical Five member missed the Blue Eagles’ 96-63 victory over Uratex amid rumors casting doubt on his eligibilty for the coming season.
A source told SPIN.ph that the point guard was originally listed in the Ateneo lineup but was simply not around during the opener.
He also has been oddly missing from team practices, the source added.
Last FilOil Preseason Cup, Padrigao only played in the first three games of the blue Eagles and sat out the last six.
Kai Ballungay led Ateneo with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists in the romp.
