'ONE more year? Yeah!'
Those were the words of UAAP Season 86 MVP — and now Finals MVP — Kevin Quiambao as he thanked the Lasallian community and bared his desire to do it all over again with the Green Archers next season.
A historic sophomore season capped by a 73-69 win over the UP Maroons in winner-take-all Game 3 enabled Quiambao to replicate the feat done by La Salle great Don Allado of a UAAP title-Season MVP-Finals MVP hat-trick in both 1998 and 1999.

Afterwards, the La Salle big man told reporters he is bound for Japan - but for a vacation.
"Papunta kasi ako ng Japan ng December 15. Bakasyon lang," said Quiambao, who clammed up when asked if there are indeed offers from B.League teams.

"Bawal sabihin," he said smiling.
It was clear that the newly crowned champion and Finals MVP had an adrenaline rush beyond belief upon addressing the Lasallian faithful and celebrating their 10th title on the floor.
But as the emotions soon subsided — even just at the slightest — Quiambao gave himself enough room and time to make an all-important decision on whether he'll be starting a new chapter or extending his green-and-white fairytale.
However, do expect to hear from KQ himself very, very soon.
"For now, pahinga muna ko and then in these next few weeks, siguro malalaman niyo kung anong future ko," Quiambao said.
