FAR Eastern University slotman Anthony Hargrove has joined the growing list of UAAP players who have fallen prey to the strict and yet contentious league rule after getting a one-game suspension for committing a second unsportsmanlike foul this season.
League insiders said Hargrove was suspended for one game by commissioner Chito Loyzaga for committing the infraction on University of Santo Tomas center Karim Abdul in the third quarter of their game last Saturday which the Tigers won after two extra periods, 79-78.
The American player has previously been given a warning this season, leading to the automatic suspension which will keep him out of the Tamaraws' match against Adamson on Saturday.
Hargrove's suspension follows a similar one-game ban served out by FEU star RR Garcia.
He is the latest player to be suspended owing to such violation after the trio of University of the East's Charles Mammie, Lord Casajeros, and Ralf Olivares.
