FAR Eastern University will always be there for Cholo Anonuevo.
That was the assurance given by Tamaraws coach Olsen Racela after the Ireland-born forward bared on Monday an offer he received from a US NCAA Division I school.
"Same pa din," he told Spin.ph. "He has committed to FEU if he decides to come back."
Anonuevo flew to Ohio back in June to train with NBA G League-bound Kai Sotto and 7-foot Fil-Am Sage Tolentino after signing with East West Private.

He has since been offered to play for Tennessee State, with coach Penny Collins personally recruiting him and Tolentino.
The 6-foot-4 Anonuevo earlier committed to FEU for his collegiate studies before the global COVID-19 pandemic forced basketball in the country to a halt.
He was coming off a solid run with the Baby Tamaraws, posting 9.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.1 steals last UAAP Season 82.
Anonuevo was even listed in the seniors team that supposed to compete in the 2020 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup as SeaOil-FEU.
This year was supposed to be his rookie year in Morayta, but the health crisis has pushed back the opening of UAAP's next season to the first quarter of 2021.
Whatever Anonuevo's decision will be, Racela reiterated that the school will support him all the way.
He expects more schools to inquire about the 18-year-old given his immense potential.
"From what I know, they will wait for more offers and decide next year," Racela said. "I’m sure he’ll get more offers there."
